After being a pastry chef for half my life I decided to take the next step. I retired "The Elegant Crumb" and became a jewelry metalsmith. I replaced the medium of organic flour and butter, cage-free eggs, spices and bittersweet chocolate with gold, fine silver, copper, brass and gemstones. I'm sure the logic of this decision is quite clear!
